Key Responsibilities
- Perform full-cycle accounting functions for the organization.
- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Complete bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Analyze financial data and investigate account variances.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting.
- Assist with external audits and tax preparation activities.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiencies.
- Collaborate with operational and leadership teams on financial matters.
Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3+ years of full-cycle accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
- Experience with month-end close and financial statement preparation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables and VLOOKUPs/XLOOKUPs.
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, or similar.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
